I honestly sympathize with the jolly good fellows, who are scrapping from their poverty infested pockets, to keep the Biafra dream alive.
But as the progenitor of Biafra, Ikemba Nnewi, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, had declared with a microphone before the very great and patriotic man passed on: Biafra as it stands operationally today in Nigeria, has now become an emotional conduit pipe for the Igbo race.
Meaning that reality, has since been knocked off the framework.
I now honestly believe that if the Igbo intelligentsia think again seriously about the Nigerian enterprise, then jettison their individualism and finally bond their enlightened and egalitarian disposition around how to be reckoned with again in the Nigerian promising project, they will gain serious relevance, as it applied in the First Republic. Then, the enterprising Igbo race literally dominated all facets of national life. Can the Igbo reinvent that “can-do” spirit that propels achievers of all ages. yes, I believe, the Igbo can lead again.
